Are parts interchangeable for kx250's from different years?

Are any of the parts from the different years interchangeable? I know a lot of the "service" manuals out there group a lot of the years together.

I think the front caliper on my project bike is dead. I've bled the brakes over and over, but the caliper still just barely moves.

I'm just wondering if parts from different models will work because I am sure I am going to need a lot of parts for this bike....

the way i look up things like that is to go to kawasaki.com and look up the part numbers, if they are the same ...... you have a winner

Mav has it - check the kawi parts diagrams, the first 5 digit number is a general number followed by a 4-digit more specific designation. If both numbers match, they are the exact same part and interchangeable. If they are not, it doesn't mean they won't work, but you will need to be wary since there's a good chance they won't. That's how I check for part compatibility between the KLX250S that I own vs the KLX300 for which there are a lot more aftermarket parts available.
