So I have been out of riding for a long time. We just sold our boat and I have the itch to get back into it. I have the chance to get what I would say is a very nice 2010 KXF250. I am on the fence still with four strokes. Is there really that much more of a head ache with a 4 then a 2 ? Im not worried about having to check my valves and doing the oil changes myself. But why does it seem no one wants a 4 and they go after a 2 ?

I hear they cost so much to repair, but if you take care and keep the valves in check and oil and filters clean whats the problem?
