jetting question

Default jetting question

I have a 2004 kx 250 and I put pro circuit platnum 2 pipe onitI have the jet chart off of procircuit.com my problem is the needle position Im tring to find out if I can adjust my needle or if I need to buy a new one any info would be awsome

well just take your carb off, and then twist off the top, pull the needle out and youll be able to tell, more than likey you can, no problem

Remember Raise the clip makes itleaner and lowering the clip makes it richer.

Are you sure raising it is leaner? I tought lowering it was leaner

if you raise the clip the rod will sit lower into the jet and less fuel will get though so it will run leaner.
