Can I Rotate Cylinder 180 Deg. ? 01 KX250 2T

Hello I have a 2001 Kx 250 2 stoke, my plans for this bike is to take the engine and build it for a custom track motorcycle. As you know the current port setup for virtually all db's is exhaust exits the front and intake/carb on the back side of the engine above the transmission. I was wondering with it being a 2T and since I don't know of any mechanical limitations would I be able to rotate the cylinder 180 degrees. Meaning the exhaust would exit out the back of the engine under the rider, and the carb and intake setup would be in the front. My reasoning for this is to utilize a undertail exhaust and with it being a strait shot from the engine it will make the custom fab of the new exhaust much more strait forward and less complex with the expansion chamber. Making running the ram air ducts a lot simpler as well. Not to mention it will look pretty sick.

Thank you, Elijah H.
