the motor of my 1999 kx250 is making a light rattling sound. it sounds like when you ride a bicycle with a playing card flapping on the spokes. is this normal? the sound gets even lighter when i pull in the cluch. Also, what parts do i need for a top end rebuild.

 

I'm actually getting the same noise from my 98. Hopefully it's normal then.

 

i too have this same problem reason for me joining this forum. i read on another kawasaki forum it is normal

 

You should hear all sorts of noises.

 

mine did that but after i replaced the seals and put some coolant in the raidaitor it stopped.
