HELP.. striped screw!

So im swaping out my sun faded plastics on my kx 125, and the threads striped on one of the screws on the radiator scoop that goes into the gas tank (see pic). It just keeps spinning and won't loosen[:@]. Any suggestions on how to get it out?

or if you get a socket on it and put a small thin screwdriver under the head of the nut and pry it out as you back it off.

the same thing happend to mine, its a little brass nut thats in there. what worked for me was using a special air ratchet, or something that spins really fast and just take a screw driver and kind of pry on the bolt while using the air ractchet. this worked for me but you might just have to mess with it.

if its stripped it should have no real hold.... you could be a total redneck and get a pair of vices and just yank til it pops out[8D]
