Default Plastics???

Just bought a KLX 300R... I Bought it for the quality and cost comparison to let's say a cross country for several $$$$ more and less Maintenance. I love the brand but never cared for the color. I Would really love to know what my options are since I can't seem to find really any MODS and such for this model... Would love all the links and help you guys can throw at me... Thanks in Advance!!!

Welcome to the forum.

My KLX was blue which was an ok color, but I wanted to black out the bike so I started with a black Acerbis front fender.

It's universal to it needed to be drilled and trimmed to fit the bike, but was not difficult to do. I had wanted a larger tank so I got a black one to replace the stock silver tank. I also changed the headlight housing to black to complete the project. there's a little patch of blue still on the rear fender, but I didn't bother with it as it matches the blue trimmed 300SM label.

Revzilla.com sells OEM KLX parts including plastics. They give good service.

Got the Acerbis front fender from ebay.
