Given a 1997 KLX300
 

Hey Gang

Was just given a 1997 KLX300 (is this the KLX300R?). Pretty much stock (newish fork). Here's the thing, it was running when the guy stopped riding but it's been sitting for the five years since then.

So the question, should I try to fire it up? Should I just dig into it and crack the top of the engine? Carburetor parts to replace? Anyone have any advice where to start?
