Hello all, First post of the forum.
Working on a friends 2020KLX140. Bought it used. Week later a butterfly screw let loose and went in the top end.
Bent a valve & the screw welded itself to the head.
The bike is about an hour away from me and I forgot to bring the remaining screw home to measure. Need to order a couple new ones.
Thinking the original or previous owner was cleaning the carb and thought it would be a good idea to remove the butterfly......Not...
I found the remaining screw and butterfly in the airbox.
Screw has a flat (not tapered) head and I'm guessing it's a M3mm. .5mm pitch and about 5mm in length.
Just a shot in the dark here but checking if anyone knows what the correct screw is?
If not I'll just order a couple M3 and M4 by 8mm and cut to length.
