Zeta Armor Handguards On Stock Bars

Hey guys, I've been searching everywhere to see if the zeta armor handguards fit on the stock bars (09 klx250s) but can't seem to find any definite answers. Does anyone have any experiences with these handguards on the stock bars? Anyone KNOW if they fit?

I will be upgrading to either pro taper or renthal bars in the future but as for now the stock bars don't need replacing. Here is the link for these handguards. Thanks everyone.

I think the Zetas will fit on the 7/8 stock bars, but you will have to drill through the weights in the handle bars in order to mount the handguards. It is a real pain and it is a lot easier to pick up some after market handlebars.

It's fairly simple to Dremel off the (3) small weld points and pull the bar-end weights out. Takes about 5 minutes a side...

Thanks rogers, I wish I would have known that earlier because I drilled mine out. Took forever! :D

I went the Dremel route but you need bar end clamps. I used cycra but it looks like the zetas come with them. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Anyone have these hand guards mounted on the stock bars?

Why dont you drill and tap the bar end weights so you can thread the bolt into it from the handguards?

I have Meier handguards on the stock bars. Work great so far! They have survived many dirt naps with nary an issue.

I opted for the Dremel route because it was so much easier and faster. Most of the taps I own are still packed in moving boxes (and have been for the past 5 years) - and they're almost all SAE taps... It would have taken me longer just to find the right tap, than it did to get the weights removed and the handguards installed.

That's what I'm going to do. I just wanted to make sure the handguards would clear all the controls when installing them on the stock bars. (master cylinder, clutch perch, crossbar, etc)

I must be a pansy or have a dull bit. I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel and plugged in the dremel.
