WTB Helmet Lock
 
Happy New Year!

The previous owner of my KLX, tossed the helmet lock, anybody have one they can sell me? I suppose I need the key also. Thanks guys.

They key to the helmet lock is the key to the ignition I believe. I do have one though if you wanna buy it (let me check first it might have been thrown out the last clean up)

That would be great, the only reason for mentioning the
key, is I don't know if mine will work, but I probably can make it work, let me know how the search is going, thanks.

A locksmith should be able to re-key the lock, maybe even to match your key?
I also have one, if Matt can't find his.

So I keep looking at this helmet lock on my desk and think to myself,"Why is this here? Oh yeah, someone wanted one. Now who was that?"
Finally searched "helmet lock" and found the thread.
Do you still need it?
Lock only, no key.
It ain't purty, been through a winter on the bike and has some winter patina, but it works. Definitely needs cleaning...

Maximus Prime, it might make it easier to get the cylinder out while you have it there with the key. It would make the rekey much easier.
