Will a 2007 speedo gear assy fit on a 2006?

Hey guys. Tore the speedo gear assy and cable off my 2006 and have a line on one from a 2007, anyone know for sure if it will fit? Thanks so much.

The 06 and 07 are identical. Nothing changed until the 09+ models.

Don't know how much you're paying for the speedo unit but Trailtech sells a really nice digital unit called the vapor for under $100. Cuts a lot of weight from the front end and is way better than the stocker.
