Default Will a 140/80-18 fit?

Hey guys im going to upgrade my stock tires to something a little wider in the rear and i was looking into THESE but they only come in a 140/80-18 rear and I was wondering if this size would fit? I have a 2010 KLX250s BTW.

I understand that however thats the smallest rear size they make and as we all know there are slight differences between the measurements of tires from different companies. Either way anyone know if it will fit?

I went with the largest rear tire I could fit on mine. Motor was robed of to much power. Now back to the stock width. Handles so much better to.

I'd go no bigger than a 110/100x18

Then your not losing as much power, especially when your talking 18 barn busting horsepower!

This ^^^

Looked at the Terraflex at the link and it states that the 140/80 is now relabeled as a 150/90. Yowzaa!!
I doubt it would fit. I've read that they're a beatch to mount.
And the KLX would not be able to get out of its own way with one of those on the rear. IMHO.

Good comments from most of those already and I agree. The Terraflex almost verges on the ridiculous for a dirt bike. In my location out at our club's riding area on a rocky ranch, a bunch of people started using them a few years ago. Even then only on big bore, open class bikes...KTM500 series and such. Only one guy is still using one on the rear of his KTM525, and he's not that great a rider anyway. Almost universally they all complained about poor handling brought on by this tire. It has almost no carcass compliance. These big bore bikes were even marginal in turning this huge tire. A KLX would be pitiful. I would even expect impending clutch issues on the KLX. Go look what a new Yamaha WR450R racing model comes with in its 18" rear tire and think about why.

There was a reason they were called "Terribleflexes" back in the 70s! Weighed a ton and rotated like a steam engine flywheel.
