Default Why does my bike stop alot?

My mate got some clips on his phone today which show a problem I encounter on my bike occasionally, using in tight technical areas, slow speed.

The bike just stops. And will make the hsssss sound.

I have a feeling this is what was causing my torque limiter to slip prior to installing the new upgraded one previously.

I really want to fix whatever is causing this if anyone has any ideas.

Bike is fitted with Keng Engine 330 kit

Out of curiosity did you go with Kengs camshafts in your 330 kitted engine?

I'm pretty sure Keng camshafts are just re-badged 300r camshafts

Any thoughts on the initial question?

Keng said I need to check through idle control and tune it but didn't say how?

I asked what kengs intake & exhaust cams would cost, he said 5500 thb which is about $162 right now. I doubt if they are rebadged 300R cams at that price since dealer retail price is $251 for the intake cam & $278 for the exhaust cam.

But getting back to the bikes engine flame out situation. Iirc performance cams overlap introduce a momentary hesitation which can lead to stalling. Turning up the idle or a heavier flywheel can reduce the problem. And the cvk34 carb lack of an accelerator pump might be adding to it if your running the Oem carb.
Tuner low speed fuel might need greater initial adjustment but I’m guessing since I have a carbed klx

Set higher idle for off-road, closer to 1800-2000rpm. There's is a wheel on the throttle body. It's behind the frame near your typical knee position. If I remember correctly turning it clockwise makes higher idle and counterclockwise lower.

Klx250/300 are made it Thailand, so maybe he has access to the really low prices. However as far as I remember i've seen Kawasaki produce camshafts in Japan..
New intake 300r camshaft is about $150 here in Indonesia. Exhaust is also about $150 at Kawasaki dealers.

As you can see this message is back from April when 7500rpm soft limit was driving me crazy, so I was considering Apitech. Keng told "it's not strong enough". Which turns out to mean that most of the customers getting it burned/broken within 1-2 years..
So in the end as you know I've purchased several oem ECUs to test and found that JDM ECU works really great..
