I've been watching the news lately..I just hope everyone's safe on the west coast with all those fires burning.....hang in there.

The Mole is fine..However we have a few here at work that were evacuated, it is clearing up here in LA but the latest reports are that near Camp Pendelton down south is not looking good. I belive Calisaki is from down there.

 

I was down that way once and got into those Santa Anna winds. It was like a blast furnace. The fire fighters in that heat between the fire and wind are an awsome bunch of guys and gals.

A friend of mine told me she had to evacuate her place in Santa Clarita on Sunday. She went back home last night and everything was fine. Says everything's OK today. Not so for some relatives of one of my employees: 3 separate households all located Ramona, CA all went up in smoke and they lost everything. One of the relations was on a honeymoon so wasn't even in town to try to get save anything. What a thing to come back to from a honeymoon!

 

im good, everything is normal except that the air has been filled with ash and smoke for the past 4 days. a good friend of mine was forced to evacuate for one night so he stayed at my place but they let him back in the next day. one girl at my work lost her home though. im lucky to live where i do, the evacuation line was just a few miles away from me but now things are starting to get under control.cant wait to get out to the burn areas on the bike, now i might have more places to ride lol. ok take care guys.

DG and I are quite safe...looks like we might be sendong some guys and fire fighting equipment down there to help out...
