2006 klx250s. Thanks for any help.

It's a short line from the gas tank to the carb. If you don't see one in between, there isn't one, as far as I know. It's not something difficult to add, and it's on my list, but the list is too long for comfort at the moment. You just splice the line, insert an inline filter, and you're done! Small pipe clamps probably a good idea, but if the fit is snug, there shouldn't be any leaks.

My bike usually had one inside the carb gas inlet. A little cone that fits right inside. If you don't take the fuel line off you'd never know it was there

My '06 had this too and you describe it well. I tossed it and replaced with an in-line filter.

Yes, it was on the carb fuel inlet. Just take off the hose and there it is. Be careful, it's easy to lose when pulling off the fuel line. Seems like it could get stuck in the line when pulling off the hose. ??????????
