Dual Star does not have the sprockets, I just emailed them last week:

Hello,
Yes, the KLR 650 LED taillight will work in the taillight housing of the KLX250S. However, this is unofficially confirmed and is not supported by the manufacturer yet. If purchased, you are on your own. The price on the LED taillight is listed on our website at $64.95, and a 108 link RK X-ring chain will run about $77.90. The sprockets are not available to us yet, but check back periodically for updates on this matter.

That explains Thursdays phone call. Nick from D-S called asking to use my sprocket for measurements. I linked him up to ADVrider and this forum, along with the JTSprocket drawings. I'll quit pimpin' D-S until they have sprockets on the shelf, thought they were much further along.

Trust me, the LED tail light assembly Dual Star sells for the KLR650 (made by a company called Brake!) is a perfect fit the the KLX250S tail light. It is far and away the best LED setup I've seen for a bike. So much brighter than stock (from all angles, not just from behind) and it GETS THE ATTENTION OF CAGE DRIVERS BEHIND YOU! Plus is saves precious watts for other gadgets.
