i just got my beast on saturday and i ****ing love it...however, im ready to start customizing the bike personally...i want all new plastics, side plastics, front and rear fender, radiator panel, seat cover, etc...basically, im going to make it look like a completely different bike on the outside...i think im gonna go withlike an orange with a little blackseat and then all black plastics, carbon fiber front fork stickers, and black wheels...i also want to be able to purchase big gun exhaust system, K and N air filter, and some kind of carb, and basically just ANYTHING and EVERYTHING for the klx250....any websites, store names, magazines, etc would be helpful...thanks guys, you've all helped me thus far with helpful answers for my new bike...

 

Well ya got a lot of searching to do.... and sorry to tell ya but you cant get black rad shrouds and side panels... you can get a different color mx fender and front fender.... but the only people who make the rad shrouds and side panels are kawi... I got my big gun right from them, you need to figure out what you wanna do and search for that stuff... a little bit at a time man... this is what mine looks like now.... i painted my side panels and fork guards..

 

You can get an MX fender in black or green, this is the Maier KLX300 rear fender. You have a few options for front fenders but rad shrouds and side panels you are stuck with the stockers for now, and most likely for good being that they redesigned them for 2009.

 

Hey josh i was watching Superbikes yesterday, They went to montana and showed circle track dirtbike racing on ice... then they had a crotch rocket stunt show on the ice!!!! pretty crazy stuff.... but that got me thinking, if you were going to ride strictly on ice with a dirt bike, wouldnt it be better to run street tires with studs... there would be more area to put studs.... instead of on just the *****... but if you wanted to trail ride in the snow that wouldnt be so good.... The guy was explaining that you can ride harder on ice than in dirt because of the traction is alot better on ice.

 

ahh-haaa, but you forget, i saw in the store the other day where they sold just bigass sheets of solid carbon fiber graphic stickers....instead of black, i could just go with the carbon fiber look, and then get a custom made orange seat, that would be ****ing badass...also, could i find orange ahnd guards? certainly they make orange handguards and orange fork plastic(for like white plastic guards that come stock, on the lower half of the front forks)....so right now i can only get front and rear fenders, right? do they make a rear fender with hte turn signals built in? and a front one like that too? sorry for all the questions im just pumped, this is my first NON two stroke dirtbike...ima put some pics up once im done customizing...so basically what were looking at now is gonna be everything carbon fiber, except the seat, hand guards, and fork guards are gonna be orange....i also already got the black pro taper handlebars and black and orange pro grip grips....black wheels...IM back guys and let me know what you think about that idea....oh yeah, so there is no online catalog you guys can reference me too?
