This one has been sitting since last year. I went to look at it in October, but the dealer was too busy to get out of his chair so I left.

He's asking $4499... and he's still sitting on it.

I'm in the Portland area. Roughly four weeks ago, I was lured in by Hillsboro Motorsports "$3899" price on 2010 KLX250SF, only to find they were tacking on other charges on top of the "$3899" price, making it closer to $4500. I hit up at least four other dealers looking to get anywhere close to that $3899 price. They were all several hundred dollars more than Hillsboro Motorsports. I was told by more than one person that the bikes Hillsboro Motorsports are selling are most bought at auction from a now out of business dealership (such as Factory Motorsports). This why they are priced lower than everyone else in the region. I too saw a thread where others had purchased 09' models roughly a year ago for prices averaging around $3500 OTD in different parts of the country. My guess is these bikes were sold under simular circumstances and combined with factory discounts Kawasaki was giving at that time to get such a low price.
I figured out the best OTD price I'd be able to get around here would be around $4400 for a 2010 SF which was outside of my budget. I ended up traveling north to Sedro Wolley Washington and purchased a used 09' from the original owner that had all the mods I'd planned to add already done to it(351 kit, full exhaust and pumper carb). I gave $3450 for it and feel like I got a fair deal.

I paid $5,160 OTD on my '12 in January. I also got a $250 Costco gift card as part of my deal.

Bought my 09 SF almost exactly a year ago for 3750, ended up 4400 OTD. I wouldn't pay more than that.

Looks like the current factory incentive on new 2010 KLX250SF's is $250 cash back(which the dealers usually factor in in their "sale" prices.

Wow, I guess I was way wrong. I was at the dealer today and they still have a 2010 klx250s and they want $5200 plus tags and other B/S.

I paid 51XX OTD in March. I assume that is a tad high, but it was the only one remotely close. Aside from a local dealer who wanted close to 6 after taxes, which is just plain silly.

Should be able to get a 2012 for pretty close to that...

To clarify, that was for a 250SF, which I specifically wanted. I am under the impression those are no longer made.

Like a few other have pointed out, 2010 was the last year for the 250SF.
