What did you pay for your used 2009 KLX 250s?
Who has bought a used 2009 KLX 250s and what did you pay? Not that many 09's coming up in my area. I have a guy who has a 2009 with less than 1000 miles on it, bluebook is $3,650 and is what he wants for it. First he wanted $3,900 but when I informed him on bluebook, he said he'd take that.
I told him I'd give $3,500 based on what I'm seeing in other states and comments here, he's going to think about it.
I hate to beat him down, he's very nice and as we all know, taking a big loss.. He paid a lot for it from the dealer but I guess that's how life goes.. What do you guys think?

I would give maybe 3K if it had a pipe and some mods, but no more. $500 more and thats what i paid for my brand new one. Of course that is based on what i am seeing around here.
Where are you located ? Prices can vary ALOT from region to region.

It's EXACTLY the right price to someone that ends up paying that amount. However, it's too high for me to buy it.
You have to decide if it's the right one for YOU. There are many bikes out there, if you "miss" this one, there will be another. Impatience can cost you hundreds of dollars....

I bought mine brand new last weekend for $3700+. If you're happy at $3500, go for it. Nothing wrong w/pushing a little, though. The "+" cost of new really doesn't apply to used bikes, as they're not a new bike, w/the new bike appeal. So, I'd tell him I could get a new one for $3700 and bring him down. That's just business and the market. Your call.
I paid $4750 cash OTD in Jan 2009. Of course I've put probably $1500 into it for a total of $6250. It's got 1650 miles on it and it's probably worth $3000-$3500. Doesn't seem like a great deal when I write it down, but it sure has been fun!
I paid $4000 last year for my 2009 250s with 3000miles FCR, 330kit, Muzzy, and a bunch of other smaller mods.
I paid $2650 for GF's 2009 250sf bone stock .5miles on it. Was from a guy who goes and scoops on dealership forclosures.
I paid $3500 for anothe 250sf 2009 with 10miles on it. It came with all kinds of bling including exh. I have the first sf sold for $3500 with 2500miles on it.
