Does anyone have a whale tail for a '09 250s? i trimmed off too much during the whale-ectomy. I need another one so i can still mount a license plate. Thanks

Pull the plate mount off and drill a couple holes and mount it on the bike.

 

i trimmed off almost everything all the way to almost under the rear tail light....just left a 1 inch rear flap to drill two holes...mount a metal bar with two holes to mount the license plate on to....from pictures i've seen, i'm pretty sure i hacked off the most...i'll take some pictures later and show you...

 

I trimmed too much one time, it finally grew back. LOL?

 

I thought this is what you guys were talking about.

 

Just reverse the mounting bracket.

how mine was cut using a $$7~8 dremel from harbor freight...

 

I have one. Its trimed but should work for you.

 

Funny how the inside of your muffler says FMF but the outside is HMF.
