Waterproof tool bags?
I am going to replace the little tool bag on the rear of my 2006. When I wash the bike it gets a little wet in the bag. I have added a few tools in there and I would like them to stay dry.
Any cool ideas? I am putting a Pelican on the rack and could transfer tools there as well but then the spot where the old bag was looks empty. I could find something better for that spot I guess. |
I was *hoping* the stock bag design was waterproof... I've never noticed anything inside mine getting wet. Maybe I need to wash my bike more often...

I keep vinyl conditioner on my little bag... never had a water leak yet.

Mount the Pelican a little further forward which is probably a good idea anyway, less leverage way out back.

I've been using a Wolfman rolie bag. I've got the large one, but if you're just carrying tools, the small one would be perfect.
