I wouldn't mind having a Versys. Very multi-taskable and they have a 'personality' that grows on you.
|
I like the seating position, I don't like the lay-over-the-tank position at all. I may have to look one of these up around here and test it out myself....but then my little D-Tracker would get lonely...

Would luv one but they should be 9K ride away in Aus- NOT 11k. They are based on the ER-6 and they were doing those ER's in Syd before I moved to Brissy late last year for about 8K. So the versy with a few nicer extras should be 10 flat..
A triumph street triple is 11k so it really puts it in perspective. I believe they are doing them in VIC for about 10k ride away. Also look at all the accessories they have from Factory - panniers etc. Kawasaki cant move them here despite rave reviews because they are priced wrong. |
Vstrom 650 has been 10K ride away too. Great bike for the money. Great for touring Australia.

I love my Versys. It seems to do everything well. I've only got about 2500 miles on her so far, but it's a great commuter bike, comfortable enough for long rides, and has enough power to keep you entertained. It definitely has a "unique" look, but it grows on you after a while.

I have feel in love with the looks of this bike. I've been trying to find one to test drive for months here in alabama. Can we get a versys sub-forum added to this web site?

i rode my buddies... very nice bike. id like to get one.

Is it suppose to be "dual purpose"?
Like in the dirt too ;) |
Kawi was marketing the Versys as a dual-sport bike, but even they stopped doing that for '09. I know some guys on the Kawasaki Versys forum ride them off-road - about the same places you would take a V-Strom. They have a blast, but personally, I would never take mine off-road. That's what the KLX is for! ;)
