Upper Chain Roller

2006 KLX250S - The Upper Chain Roller fell off.

Is it needed?

Cannot find it in the exploded parts list available from a place like bike bandit or others.

Any pictures of a good one?

Are you talking about the one on the swingarm?

It's mounted on the subframe, and if you take the ol' KlX off road I would get a new roller. It's got to be on the exploded view somewhere.

Roller

Plenty of after market rollers that have a bearing for less than $20 available.

I still have not found it on the exploded parts view.

I will order one of the after market ones.

I agree with those who said it's fairly important. I went the Hotfoot version that has the roller bearing in it. The factory OEM version is not a quality item. This roller really helps when the chain is flailing around under a big G-out and similiar conditions. Just toodling around on the pavement probably doesn't require much of a roller.

Look under frame fittings. There's a bunch of items needed for the OEM setup... roller, 2xbearings, a collar, and the bolt. All the OEM parts are $51.11 at Rockymountain ATV.

Interesting. My stock one didn't have a bearing...just a rubber/plastic bushing.

Hi,
I think it's the B part on that picture.
Bolt #130
washer 2x #92022
bushing #92027
bearing #92122

Here's a zoom in on the pictures.

Yeah, that's what mine looked like with 92027 being the bushing I referred to.
