RE: TW301 and 302 direction of rotation

Well we went out yesterday to break the tires in and put 130 miles on them. My wife loves them. I balanced them so that made her ride much smoother too on the road. The factory wheels had no balance weights on them so I can assume they were not balanced. She was driving much faster down the dirt roads and even through the gravel. She asked me at the end of one dirt road after I asked her how she like the new tires; "What kind of crap did I have on there before?". Keep in mind that her old D603's had 3,000 miles on them and the back was pretty worn down the middle and that she is not an expert on riding but I will follow up with more reporting after a ride in the rain and other conditions.

That's interesting... My wife and I both bought our bikes at the same time... (Me the KLX250S with D603's, and she bought the Super Sherpa with TW301/302's.)

After riding both machines on brand new tires in various conditions (street, rocks, mud), I have to say that I was really not impressed with the TW's... Not as much traction in the loose stuff as the D603's.

The TW's are more street oriented tires with an off-road look. I got those for the better wear and better on-road qualities as we ride more on road than off road and the off-road riding we do is mainly fire roads and hard pack.
