Default Turn signals/rear fender?

Hey, I just bought a new KLX 250s and of course want to "clean up" the looks a bit. How difficult is it replace the goofy turn signals with flush ones? If so, where'd you get them? Also, has anyone gotten rid of the huge black license plate holder and rack? If so, what have you used to hang a license plate on the bike?

BTW, I assume turn signals are "required" here in Georgia?

Thanx, Lance

sdunne, I bought LED's as well, you dont need a "heavy duty" flasher unit, you need one designed to work with LED's because of their low current draw. I can show you one in an Australian catalog, I don't know where you would get one in the states

the 2 pin is suitable for the KLX however its not a direct swap and you need to change / modify the stock connector to fit the flasher unit. Also it won't just fit onto the bracket for the original flasher is so I will probably zip tie mine when I get it

p.s. in case you don't know the stock flasher unit is behind the headlight
