I've got an almost new 2007 leftover Honda CRF250X that I bought new about 6 months ago. It only has about 400 miles and is in excellent condition. It is mostly stock w/ these changes: Titled & tagged in VA (street legal) Suspension professionally revalved & lowered to the about same height as a KLX250s, cost $505 and is 100% reverseable. Properly jetted w/ JD jet kit to run perfectly. I'm only looking for the newer 2009 model klx250s. I'd be willing to add some money to the deal if your bike turns out to be worth more than mine. why would you want to trade? doesnt a 250x have more power? just curious

 

I'm curious also why a trade? Why KLX over the crf? Especially if you have the crf already plated....

All of our local trails have been closed down so I'm looking for something a little more road worthy b/c I am going to have to ride about an hour of pavement just to get to some trails. The CRF is a high performance trail machine not really designed for lots of pavement. I made it street legal so I could participate in Enduro's and Dual sport rides.

Doesn't matter, your still nuts. The KLX can't hold a candle to the CRF in any regard. Plated or not. If your so concerned about road performance, just gear up your CRF for the road. Riding this underpowered green baby turd on the road will be much less pleasant than your CRF.

You'll absolutely hate yourself if you trade for your CRF.... if you do trade THEY should be paying YOU.................ALOT. Not only because the bike is worth more but already being plated makes it an unofficial hike in price. I'd love to have your bike, I'd trade mine in an instant.
