Default Tool tube

Anyone mounted a tool tube?

Seen some threads on here, but how did you do it?

Anyone mounted a tool tube on the side of a PMR Rack?

Found a site that sells fuel canisters and tool tubes, but not 100% sure that it would work. Wanting to mount a fuel canister inside a tool tube.

Biltwell also makes a fuel canister, and Primus.

Mega Tube, MegaTube, Large size Motorcycle Storage Tubes, Auxiliary Fuel Storage solution, locking document holder

https://www.biltwellinc.com/p426/buy...ed-1-3-gallon/

here is also a link to someone who made their own tool tube from PVC.

any ideas? comments from those who have mounted a tool tube or Aux. fuel canister.

Here's a link to a tool tube that's less expensive and has mounting tabs
I have a couple if these and they work well.
The MSR and other brands of 33 oz gas bottles fit perfectly.
I put the bottles in an old sock and it fits nice and snug

Another option is a Wolf Bottle holster

Where and how are you guys mounting these? Every time I think I solved the problem with a creative location, I go riding and end up smashing that part of the bike against a tree or a boulder (don't ask).

Default wolf man bottle holster

I like the idea of the Wolfman bottle holster. this could easily attach to a PMR or similar rack. and the fuel holster doesn't have to be permanently mounted, cool. I like the idea of the tool tube, I just cant figure out a way to mount one. Twisted Throttle has some mounting brackets that are adjustable, 'L' brackets are also adjustable. even a piece of flat or angle iron with mounting holes.

Howdy. New guy here, but I am interested in seeing where folks are putting their tubes as well. I don't want to get a larger tank, but do want more fuel. I have two of the 1.5L fuel bottles already.

I will be putting my newly painted plastics on my bike tomorrow and will get a picture up ASAP.
