I hate the winters here in Dayton. Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I got my postal job in San Diego, I stayed there for a year after my enlistment in the Navy was up. I move to Dayton in early January 1993. I'm pretty certain if I still lived in San Diego (actually El Cajon), I would not have chosen the KLX250S as my ride. The SD area has some more open areas to ride. Not so much compared to the tight gnarly hilly single track stuff I'll be riding here in Dayton. Oh, and my job (mailman) would have been much nicer year around out there if I would have applied for it out there, d'oh! But I enjoy my life out here, despite the bad winter weather. Once we get past winter, I'll have a helluva good time on my KLX out here.

We could do with a few more posties down here.LOL
The best part is you get to ride one of these every day and get paid to ride wherever you like.:D

Some even go racing on their "work ride."

West Oz....whats the story on those suckers.....and the free ride.....but I'd like to see deej ride one....lol.

I was a postie for 20 years, they are Honda CT110's specially made for Aussie Post they don't have the dual range gearbox and they have other mods to suit delivering the mail. I'm afraid like me Deej cannot ride them for Aus Post cause they now have a 90kg weight limit for riders. That came in just as I finished working for them.

Have a look at this thread
