Default Throttle Tube

Motion Pro Kawasaki KLX650 KLX250 Throttle Sleeve Tube | eBay

Anyone ever used one like this? Have any other recommendations? I have new bars coming in tomorrow and want to get them on ASAP.

I bought one but it's the mod to-do list.

Btw, call me blind, but I don't see the normal pair of screws holding the throttle halves together..where does the '07 throttle come apart?

I haven't gone over the right end of the bar inch by inch yet, but what the heck I'll ask since the thread is aprx on the subject

I used the MotionPro 01-0094 even though it doesn't have a flange like the OEM throttle tube. It worked great. The photo you have included doesn't look like it is for a two cable application unless I am looking at it wrong. This was for a 2010 KLX250S

Looking at my post it occurs to me that I wasn't very clear. The MotionPro part that I used was for my 2010 KLX250S. I don't know what the part in the photo in the link that Arickrock sent to the eBay site is for but to me it doesn't look like it is for a dual cable application. And sorry for the crappy photo.

Thanks for the info guys. After doing the tear down on the old handlebars it looked like my original throttle tube was good to go. I did end up buying one similar to the link I provided but not exactly the same and it will sit on the shelf as a back up. I got it at Ridenow but dont know the part # off hand. I do believe that SageGrouse8139 is correct and the original link would not work for a KLX250sf.

I thought my new bars were going to be exactly the same as what I had just in black but turns out I messed that up too. The vortex bars on the bike had no cross bar and were fatter in the middle. The set I got in are 7/8 thickness the whole way across and do have a cross bar in the middle. Although they arent exactly what I was expecting I do like the black look better than the aluminum/silver color I had to start.

The eBAY posting linked in post 1 does state "generic photo". ie: a photo of 'A' throttle tube not 'THE' throttle tube one was buying.

Good catch ol`klx-er. So maybe it would work. I stuck with the one that was on the bike mainly because it was black in color and not tan.
