Thor 50/50 Boot questions.

Well, after reading thru various posts here i think I'll be buying some Thor 50/50 boots. I ride mostly street and woods roads. Very little rocky single trails. Most small trails here i do on my AC atv where 4WD is a must. Tried these trails on KLX once. Didnt go well at all !!! big slippery rocks and lots of bog. I use my winch a fair bit needless to say.

Anyhoo, back to the boots. (sorry i got sidetracked a bit there :o )

Question 1: I'll have to mail order them, so I was wondering if their sizes are accurate? I normally wear a size 9 sneaker. will i be safe in ordering a size 9? Or do they tend to be a bit Smaller/bigger? I'm trying to avoid sending them back for exchange of different size. No dealer close to me carry these boots for me try.

Question 2: Are these boots waterproof? I'm fairly well rigged for riding in wet weather but my feet always get wet. . Right now I wear high cut steel toe boots. Better than sneakers or hiking boots i s'pose. what are you fellars wearin in the rain?

That's it for now. :)

I have the Thor 50/50 boots, I wear a size 8 and my Thor's are a 9 and they feel
very comfortable.
And as for your second question, no they are not waterproof, % 65 leather
%35 synthetic.

I wear a size 10 and bought the 50/50 boots in a size 10 and they fit perfect. After reading many reviews about riding boots not having enough width i was pleased to find these boots have the width i need. I have yet to ride these in wet conditions but i don't think they will keep the feet dry. Aside from that i would highly recommend them for their comfort riding or walking!

I wear the Thor 50/50 size 10 shoe and size 10 Thor. Fit perfect, plenty of room, not at all waterproof especially when in water above your boots and I cross rivers in the summer and get in some pretty deep stuff, put in normal wet conditions I would have to say they will keep you pretty dry. I have tried full MC Boots and cannot make them work. They are to wide for the pegs, to big for the shifter and brake is not big enough. Cannot feel anything as to having any control they way you do with the 50/50. I also have a new pair of Stars Tech 2, have never worn on the bike, quite a bit stiffer but think they will work well on the bike. Anyone tried the Stars Tech 3?
