I think I have only ridden twice in a year. I was thinking of selling my 2006 KLX250S Every time I walk by it in my shop I want to ride it but have no spare time. Here are the mods I did in 2019 what do you think it is worth? 2006 KLX250S Original Plastic Garage Kept, When people see it they think it is new!
Be aware how much it will cost if you decide to replace it in a year or two. When my children were growing up I kept my bikes figuring more time was coming.... and it did. Never regretted letting the bike sit and running around with my girls. Then when they were older and running around with their friends I got to ride again. Plus then I took them for rides too. Lots of good times.
Ahh, in case everyone missed it, he is running the MCM on a 351 ............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't know bout anyone else, but I'm dying to know just what kind of monster power that thing makes - off idle to 6500 rpm ...........??????????????????????

Man, these are my thoughts exactly.
IMO you have the best vintage of KLX on your hands (of course I'm slightly biased!). No it doesn't have FI, but my experience is that PLENTY of folks prefer carbs for their simplicity. Your's also is less weight and more ground clearance than the later year models.
If you're hell bent on selling it, consider the market you wish to list it. A bike like yours with all those mods would most likely fetch top dollar in my region - well north of 4k.
It is a seller's market for sure. Here in Ohio dealers are starving for both new and used. I'm betting it could fetch what would have been a good private sale price at a dealer.
The bike makes great power off idle to about 7500 rpm ! Most klx's change to a smaller front sproket to gear down for more snap, but stock gearing is just about perfect for trail riding. I actually go to a bigger front sprocket for street ridding I would think I am pushing just shy of 30HP. I can tell you it is a blast riding a sleeper that looks stock and when you show up at a ride and totally wax everybody!
