Default Thanks...

so much to everyone who continues to post such great info here! I've been lurking for a while after buying a KLX-S in November. Finally decided to take the carb mod plunge (pilot jet/main jet/needle jet)... even though I've never done ANYTHING mechanical like it before. And, you know what? It wasn't so bad. All your posts, photos, discussion made the job way easier than I expected!

Put the carb back together. Fired the bike up. Runs fantastic!

Thanks again!!!!

Congrats, Shrumple.

You might want to take a minute and visit the "nicknames" thread. You don't go around with a screen name like "Shrumple" without offering an explanation.

Have a little "Faith" and "Hope" that all your mods work in "Harmony", otherwise you'll be giving your bike away to "Charity" instead of jumping for "Joy"!!!

In this case and many others, being young and not knowing is very fortunate.

The name 'Shrumple' falls inline withwhat an 'artist' by thename of Frank Zappanamedhischildren.'Dweezel' and 'Moon Unit' were but two of his childs' names. The guy was pretty intelligent, but REALLY strange. If you have a service like Rhapsody, ITunesor the like, look up Zappa and listen to a few songs from the album 'Apostrophe' and you'll get the idea. I doubt you will listen very long.

In the eightys, 'DweezelZappa' putout a song called 'Valley Girl' that some of you might remember. Frank Zappa's voice can be heard in the background.

And with that little bitof musicaltivia, Igladly return toour regular programming.

Luckily I was joking. Shrumple is a nickname... but there's no good story behind it. Just a goofball handle.
