Hi guys,

I bumped into their site, https://www.t-rex-racing.com/category-s/1890.htm, the other day but it shows only 2018+ and their e-mail response was this (which was disappointing from a seller of goods to a potential buyer):

"Unfortunately, we do not have anything for your KLX nor do we know if any of our current products for the KLX250 are compatible with your year model."

Do you know if all of their parts fit earlier years? It seems like most would.

Since the basic frame/bodywork/etc has been pretty much the same since 2009 and the lower frame the same since around 1994 I'd say everything they have there would work. The only thing that changed since 2009 was the carb replacement with EFI and the bigger bore cylinder taking it from 250 to 300. Maybe a catalytic convertor section in the exhaust, but I forget. A review of the parts diagrams reveals how most stuff stayed the same. Most actual changes in part numbers have to do with paint/plastic colors.

 

That's what I figured. A shame they don't seem to want to know that.

My guard is different, so I'm not sure the side bars would fit/mount.
