Is the 09 KLX250S a 6V or 12V system?

No such thing as stupid on KF. 12 volt system. You will have to correct the "bone stock" problem with your bike ASAP. Mods are a must with this crowd.

Thanks, I bought a battery tender and it's got a 6V and 12V switch on it.

The stock bike will definitely get modded, it just has to warm up enough around here so that I can ride it!

I wonder if they even make a 6V bike anymore? There I asked a noob question and I've been on here for over 3 years.:D
