Where are you guys riding at 60mph plus in the dirt? Thats the only time it even starts to weave...in the dirt;)(dirt road..I'm not that fast in the woods...$%#$%#$%#)

RE: Sterring dampner
I ride in sand and it's very fast and open so i get some head shake

RE: Sterring dampner
A damper is good for not just for high speed shake, but in the dirt it's good for when you hit that hidden rock or root at even moderate speeds. It helps to dampen out the side deflection. Mine has kept me upright more than once. You just need to adjust it down in the super tight twisty stuff because it'll make you work harder if you have it set too high. The effects are subtle, until you don't have it like when you are riding someone else's bike, and then you miss it. At least that's been my experience. Is it mandatory? No.

You should. I'm looking at Ktm 530 or 690 right now I'm leaning towards the 690.
