Steel oil filter?
most s/s oil filters only filter down to about 30 or 40 microns.
paper filters get down to around 10 microns i think.
it's hard to beat a good paper filter.and you're getting all new surface area with every change.s/s filters slowly clog up with larger particals over time that don't clean out.
just my .02.

Been reading about steel oil filters. They are expensive, but are they worth it? Are they better than paper ones. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Steve,
Bike Bandit has great prices on both HIFLOFILTRO, EMGO and K&N oil filters.
I use the EMGO filters in all of my bikes. The ones for the KLX are $2.09 each. I usually buy them in lots of 12 to save on shipping costs.
Hope this helps.
