possibly, the plugs in all the bikes I've owned have had about the same life 10-15k before the spark starts to degrade it seems. this is on bikes that remained completely stock as well.

I always thought it was normal.


*edit* maybe I should clarify that the plug is not "fouled" like a 2 stroke but hat the spark begins to weaken and degrade. I was told this reduction in spark was due to fouling not the plug "wearing out" as that would be the result of strap or electrode wear.

If you go with the Denso's its the IU24 not the IU22, sorry made a mistake. I use to run those in my Prairie.

Like the others said the stock CR8E will be fine, and are easier to get and less $.
