Denso IU24

I've used them since I owned my bike from 250, 351 and 331 with good luck

the stock ngk cr8e spark plugs lasted almost 9,000 miles before it died...i've replaced it with the ngk cr8eix iridium spark plug...have about 6,000 miles on the iridium and seems fine...i had no difference on performance or starting compared to the oem ngk cr8e....i'll just wait to see if the iridium last longer....

how long has a spark plug lasted you?...and, which plug did you use?

This is the same one I use in iridium. Mine currently has over 15,000 miles on it. In my last valve clearance check a couple of months ago, I pulled the plug to inspect it. The gap was still perfect, and there was no sign of pitting or degrading of the electrode or ground strap. These plugs don't perform any better than an OEM plug when new, but they keep working like new way, way longer than a standard plug.

id stick with the regular copper core CR8E plug personally. , you will likely foul out the plug (10-15K miles) before you wear out the electrode (100K+ miles).

but that's just IMO and maybe my bikes run a bit rich ?

wc, if you're fouling out a plug before it "wears" out on a 4-stroke like the KLX, you must indeed be running too rich.

I use the NGK iridium also. I know my bike is a little rich, but the plug isn't fouling.

cr8e is so common...you can walk in to any motorcycle shop or even autozone or o'reilly type of chain auto part store and you'll find it...i don't think you need to special order it...
