Googled klx 250/300 skidplate and found one made out of hdpe? plastic, for the klx300R. But look closely at the pic. Looks like a klx250/300 not a 300R?!? Has a linkage bash plate included it looks like. Possibility the klx bikes gained enough popularity to get IMS to manufacture a 3.5 gallon tank for the klx too.
