There are several. Utah Sport Cycle makes one as does MSR. They're not what I would consider "full coverage" because they don't wrap up around the sides like a traditional skid plate due to the frame loops. The only one I've seen that does that is from a French company called CRD but their availability is limited. Four Strokes Only had them at one time. The others are readly available from any parts source online.

In the photos from my ride past this last weekend, you cna see that skidplate I ordered frmo Rock Mountain Cycles. I forget who made it. It's for a KLX300... but of course fits perfect. There's hole in he bottom for accessing eht oil drain bolt, otherwise it's completely flat. THe bolts are ountersunk as well, so you should be able to slide right over any obstacles.

i orderd the one right from kawasaki. Not as large as I would like but it does cover the complete bottom side of the bike. However, it does not protect the hoses or the crack case or the oil filter caps that i would have liked it to do but oh well. It also fits without any mods and has an oil drain hole.

That looks the same as the one I ordered from Rocky Mountain Cycles and now have installed on my machine. They also had the MSR, but this one was $10 cheaper I think.

Hey GT could you give me a part number and phone # for that plate, I think since I am not an aggressive rider that plate will work great for me. Thanks.

RE: Skid plate

Does the smaller original plate stay in place underneath, or is that one removed before putting this one on? -- Just bolt on to the frame in 3 spots, (4?) replacing the stocker?
Looks like the perfect size for me.
Waiting for stock # so I can order it too.
