Service Manuals

I called my dealer today to order a service manual for the KLX250S. Over the phone I heard them shuffling through papers, flipping through books, and yelling questions to each other across the shop. The end result was that they didn't have the service manual, nor could they get one yet because Kawasaki has not provided them. Smells kind'a fishy to me. Anyone have any luck getting the current 2006 KLX250S service manual? What source has these?

Get used to it, it will be some time before we get anything for these bikes. The dealers are just as helpless and at the mercy of Kawasaki as we are. Hang in there and be patient, we are all waiting.

Good to know that the mechanicas are flying blind. At least it's almost identical to the KLX300.

Is it closer to the KLX300 than to the KLX250R? I want to some of my own service and without the KLX250S manual available, which of the other two would be better as a reference?

I'd order the KLX250R service manual. They come up on eBay from time to time.
