If I'm reading you correctly, you're asking if a KLR250 connecting will interchange with a KLX250 con rod? You mention the part numbers are the same, but I didn't think you could get a separate part number for the KLX250 con rod because it's only sold as a crankshaft unit. But I'm not totally up on all the nuances between the KLR and KLX, so I can't comment any further.

No idea from me. Where are you finding an OEM part number for just the KLX connecting rod?

LOL!...no, I didn't mean I realize you're from Cyprus. I meant that I get that you're trying to see if the con rods will interchange, even though the KLX rod isn't available as a solitary part. I tell ya...you're going to have to find someone who's done this swap...or tried to...or who has both con rods in hand to do some very precise measuring. That might be pretty hard to find, but this is the internet and stranger things have happened. Out of curiosity, I checked a couple of sites like Wiseco and such to see if I could find any info on aftermarket con rods but no luck. I'm gonna bet you'll have to stick with OEM for the KLX rod, and since it isn't available as a stand-alone part, you may have to find a used engine or crank being parted out. I see your original post mentions a part #, 13031. That just sounds like a general category number and not a full part number. Frankly I'd be really surprised if the KLX and KLR rod are the same. I found a site that stated the old KL250 air-cooled con rod and the water-cooled KLR250 are the same, but nothing about the KLX. I haven't inspected a KLX crank. Is it even designed to be split to have access to the con rod other than in a factory setting? Some factory crankshaft/con rod assemblies are designed to be assembled by certain factory machinery or processes that are not available to the lay person. No idea if this applies to the KLX.
