I posted this on advrider and I figured I'd offer this here as well. I made this aluminum skid plate for my 06 klx project bike. It's made from 3/16 thick 5052 aluminum that I Tig welded. I'm not a professional welder, but it's plenty strong to take plenty of hits from rocks. The welds on the one side are a bit large and stick out from the skid plate, so it's not cosmetically pretty and you have to remember it's hand made by me in the garage. Should fit any year klx250 or klx300 as the frames are the same for all the different production years. Comes with all of the mounting hardware. The front bracket is made from 1/4 thick steel that is welded together along with the nuts welded to the back side for easy install. Asking $150 shipped anywhere in the US. Thanks Fred.
