For Sale: 2006 KLX250S & Mod parts sold seperate
Hi guys,
Well I have decided that since I just don't have the time to ride as much as I would like, and warrant that expensive of a bike sitting in the garage I have decided to sell the trusty KLX. What started the whole thoughtprocess was a listing on Ebay and it was only 60 miles away.So I just purchased a 1997 Honda XR250R for $1800.00 that came with a title and plate. This bike has been in storage for the past 6-7 years andis in pretty much like new condition with onlyone minor scratch on thefront fender and in need of new tires due to dry rot.
So, those of you that have recently sold your KLX what is a fair asking price? Mileage = 398 to date and never dropped.
Also I will be selling some of the add on parts that I know I won'trecoup mymoneyifI sell with the bike.
1. Big Gun full system including the extra $50.00 quiet core baffle. Less that75 miles on exhaust. I have a KLX300R exhaust to install inits place.
2. Utah Sport Cycles skid plate. Like new.
3. MSR frame guards. New.
4. Thumper Racing 340cc big bore kit. Never installed.
5. KLX300R gas tank, cap, petcock &shrouds. Good condition. Tank is black. Ebay purchase.
6. KLX300R carburator. Looks fine, never installed. Ebay purchase.
If anyone is interested PM me and we can discuss price.
It has been great hanging with you guys and I appreciate all the helpful info along the way. And I'll still check in every once in a while just to say hi.

Just sent you a pm with offer for 1 -3 on your list. Sorry that you have to sell but I understand limited time to ride. I think you should be able to get 3400 - 3800 for the bike no problem.

As you probably know I just sold mine on ebay for $4200 and that included everything. I think if you throw everything in and ask $4500 you should be able to sell it. People like to get extras with their bikes on ebay- if they don't want them they like to think they can sell them back on ebay. Just depends on how bad you want to rid yourself of the bike. And that big bore kit would look real appealing to the potential buyer, as would the biggun pipe. Congrats on the XR, those are kind of what started all the enduro thing and being street legal and all.

Thanks for the input. I know I can get a little more with the aftermarket parts on the bike but I thought I would throw them out there and see if anyone is interested. I am sure the KLX300 parts will go to Ebay auction. I don't need to rid myself of the bike in any hurry so I will probably list it locally first.
