Default restricted ecu

I have a question about the ecu I see every one says its restricted because of the hp drop after on the dyno after 7000/8000 i get that. But here is the question the ecu uses speed as an input but the speed senser is in the front wheel so it is sending no signal (0mph/kph) . I have worked on some kawi atv's they are all resricted with no speed signal why wouldn't the klx be??? What i would like to know is at what speed /gear does it not want to rev past 7000/8000rpm ?

Speed of engine - rpm. The peak horsepower is around 8600 rpm on the stock bike. I would venture to say the engine can spin up to 8600 rpm in all gears. Going to 10,000 rpm is actually over reving - going past redline, which it will do without problem.

If there is anyone one here that has access to dyno and want to find out if the klx has a speed related power loss let me know .I can tell how to get rid of it. Also if it is mapped using the speed senser we will never get a true reading with the speedo reading "0" on a dyno

here is a example of how kawi uses the speed based map everything else is the same. The klx will not be as big a difference if there is one but i can't see any reason there wouldn't be some difference.
stock
just speed map fixed
