Construction quality is top shelf all the way. The suede is a great material - just the right amount of friction. My first mud-ride with it will be a sad day, though. [:o] It'll be a shame to get such a work of art dirty, but James says just clean it off and it'll hold up well. I guess if I know it's going to be muddy beforehand, I can always throw the stocker back on there.

I am 100% happy with it. It's not cheap, but I don't think you can get a better seat.

James can build a seat for just about any bike, he just needs your stock seat pan. I originaly put in my order for the KLX and it was going to use the same color scheme as the stock seat with the green sides and black top, but be all suede instead, but I had him switch it to the KTM when I was sure that purchase was going to go through. I really think that the KLX seat would have looked sharp, though I know the green suede would have faded over time. But still ...

Does farckle apply here? Almost doesn't sound good enough for such a nice addition. Fantastic.

Very nice Nobrakes! Besides the cover, what's the difference between the Renazco seat and the stocker - wider, softer, lower? I had a Corbin seat on my DR650 with a leather (not suede) cover, but it got slick as hell when it got wet. The suede looks like it would be much better in that regard.

Yes, all three - wider, softer, and lower. But you can tailor it to you specifically. Each seat is custom made based on your physical traits and what you want. You discuss all this up front with Renazco before they ever sow one stitch. You choose color, style, more padding, less pading, width, height, all that. He wants to know your riding style and skill level and maybe even see some pictures of you on your bike to get an idea of your posture. You can even custom embroidery if you want it. I've seen some Renazco seats with a little pocket up by the tank to keep papers handy. Whatever you can think up, they'll do it. The attention to detail is superb and they make you feel like a VIP.

Mine is pretty basic, though. I didn't have too many special requests, just wanted more comfort, all black w/black stitching, a little lower than stock if possible, and some width for all day riding. The padding is nice - soft but still firm and supportive. It is noticably wider toward the back/middle for more support. But it narrows up by the tank so as not to interfere when coming forward for turns. The suede is super pimp - but is has great function too, just the right amount of friction even if it is wet.

Awesome! Don't forget to post impressions after your first long ride with it. I'm sure it will be worlds better than stock.
