Rectangle mirrors?

Any suggestions on rectangle mirrors that will give greater rear visibility? Ones that won't break the bank yet are sturdy and will hold up. The oem round ones don't cut it where visibility to the rear counts, safety issue.

If you mean for any off road use - aka holding up after falling over - I've never seen a set. All I've seen are road mirrors. The folding dual sport mirrors I've seen are all round. I have a set of cheap Emgos that can be folded in when off roading.

Hey 2wheeler, would you be interested in selling those round KLX mirrors? I might be interested if they are in good shape. I need a set of KLX250S mirrors for a project bike (BMW) that I am doing and the KLX mirrors are what I need. I know '06 & '07 mirrors will work but, couple years older mirrors might fit as well
Thanks!
Roger

These are the same as the Emgo mirrors with a better mirror on them. I've been using these exact mirrors for 10+ years on all my dual sport bikes and love them. Once you mount and adjust tension, move them around to wear off the paint on the ball end. Then readjust the tension and your good to go. The idiots in the reviews couldn't figure this out and gave them a poor review saying they loosen up. Idiots. Also, place the notch to center of bike so you can fold them in and down out of harms way when on the trail. Flip them back out for street use. They work great in my opinion. Can't be beat for the price.

a lot of mirrors are universal.

the trick I found for adjusting these mirrors, is adjusting them at the bottom of a hill.

I adjust mine at the bottom of my drive way.

Kind of point them up, and out to both sides, not very creative but they work.

in the motorcycle safety course I took, "head checks", make up for lack of vision in the mirror. sometimes necessary in high traffic areas, with people who speed, when changing lanes especially.

with that being said I would consider these:

but I think this is more of what you are wanting: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...ersport-mirror

you have to order two though, price is just for one.

motorcycle super store has got some pretty awesome deals.

Funny how that pick is showing an older bike for a 2012 KLX on that last link.

I got these after I saw someone else with similar here. Good visibility and adjustment at the mirror without loosening the base and stays how you put it.
