Rear Break Caliper - Anti-rattle spring position

I have a 2009 KLX250s. I was replacing the rear break pads and didn't pay close enough attention to the position of the little gold "anti-rattle spring" when I pulled the brake pads out of the rear caliper. And now, for the life of me, I can't figure out the proper orientation to put it back in. Can somebody post a photo of the "spring" correctly positioned? I did several searches and couldn't locate a photo showing the position - but forgive me if this has been covered before.

The manual has a photo - but the version I have is too grainy to decipher. The parts fiche is a little better, but I still can't figure it out. I've circled the part in question in the diagram below.

Look at the bend shape in the parts schematic, then insert it in the caliper in that direction - per the schematic.

I can get the orientation from the schematic, but not the position. That's why I'm asking for help.

It goes inside the caliper first, then the pads go in. The spring presses on the pads to stop rattle, keeping pads in proper position, whatever else they may do.

i cant really get a better picture than what is on the diagram, i usually go in order of: brake pads, anit rattle plate, pull up, then pin slides through

2nd pic down tells the tale. Camera is facing the rear of the bike.
Seems to work. Any dissenting opinions?
