77 MPG stock.

2010 KLX 250S (Australian model)

Snorkel Removed. FMF Powercore4 slip-on. TwinAir filter. Backfire filter mesh removed. 13 tooth front sprocket. Race Tech (Eibach) springs.

Dyno Jet kit (2206 kit for KLX300) - 128 main needle, 3rd clip on needle, #38 pilot jet, 2.5 turns on Air/Fuel screw

Sydney (Australia) 0 -/+ feet

Approx 20km/l when riding hard (120km on a tank). (stock form was approx 23km/l - 135km on a tank)

Mods:Two Brothers M7 pipe (no spark arrestor)/weld grind on stock header/Backfire screen delete/Twin Air air filter(KX500)/Airbox lid delete/NGK Iridium plug/Renthal R3 'O' ring chain/Renthal 45 rear sprocket/JT 13 front sprocket/Pirelli MX eXTRa 110/100-18 rear tyre/Pirelli XCMS 80/100-21 front tyre/Talon 1.60 front rimlock/Talon 2.15 rear rimlock/IRC iX Heavy Duty tubes front and rear/Renthal 809 RC High bend bars/B&B (AUS) bash plate & frame guards/Barkbusters VPS hand guards/Scott SX2 grips (lockwired.)"Nylon coupler" fork spring preload mod.

Jetting: Keihin jets/#138 main/#38 pilot/N1RX needle raised 1.5 mm/Vacuum drilled to 7/64"/Kouba FS3 fuel screw 1.75 turns out.

Location/Elevation: Doubleview, Western Australia/Sea level to 1300 feet.

MPG:Solid 70 MPG on 13/45 gearing (more on 14/45.)

Model: 2009 klx sf

mods: power core 4 exhaust , snorkle removed

Jetting : dyno jet 128 main , needle on the 3rd clip ,drilled slide stock spring, kouba t handle 2 3/4 turns

elevation: 500 feet all the way to 5000 feet (Alaska)

mpg: 60ish

KDX snorkle, TwinAir Filter, DynoJet kit (2152)

124 main jet, 3rd clip w/ 3x washers on top, 2 turns out on idle fuel

OKC OK, 1200 ft

55~60MPG

2007 KLX 250

FMF Powerbomb header, and Q4 muffler, drilled slide, air box lid and backfire screen removed

Jetting: 132 Main, N1TC needle

Location/Elevation: SW Ontario, 800 ft

MPG: No idea. 120 km to a tank riding hard, 200 at cruise.

I think I need to still go up 1 jet size. Although better than with the 128 main, since the PB/Q4 install, it cuts out like a rev limiter between 9-10 k
Dyno time is being scheduled.

07 KLX 250

HMF exhaust w/ quiet core, stock header
snorkel removed, stock airfilter
125 main jet
slide drilled
stock needle shimmed with .025" brass washer
38 pilot, air screw 1.0 turn

elevation 5000 - 9000 ft. so far.
Might be a little rich on the bottom end at altitude. Runs great down here.

Bike year/model/submodel: '07 KLX250s

Mods:KLX300 muffler w/ 1 3/8 stainless turn-down tip, FSW header, KDX snorkel, backfire screen removed, UNI air filter, iridium plug (new). 13/47 gearing w/ tall rear tire (Pirelli MT 43)

Jetting: Keihin 125 main w/ adjustable needle clipped in the middle groove (I think), Keihin 35 pilot, Kouba fuel screw between 1-3 turns out depending on the altitude.

Location/Elevation: Utah, from 4600' to 10000'+. The bike lives at 7000'.

Notes: Gotta screw in the mixture screw at higher altitude, and it's still runs a bit rich. I'm hoping the iridium plug will help. Might remove the snorkel altogether.

MPG: 55-63

Mods: jetted, no airbox lid, power bomb header, hmf pipe

Jetting: 128 main, stock pilot, dj needle, 2 1/4 turn out on the fuel screw.

Location/Elevation: murrieta, ca. ~1200 feet

MPG: normally about 60, more if all freeway/crusing, less if its singletrack.
